Delgotta Go Strikes Again

Well, Eugene strikes again.

This time it is a fundraising letter that starts, and I did not make this up, "One stormy night I drove to a mailshop hidden deep in a nearly deserted stand of warehouses.  I'd heard something was up and wanted to see for myself."  It only gets better from there.

He talks of how "Radical Homosexuals" could win this time, and it brings tears to his eyes.  Boo-fricking-hoo.  You wanna cry about something, Eugenia?  Cry about referring to transsexuals as "it".  You wanna cry about something Genie?  Cry about all of the kids who get beated, spit upon, abused, and killed for being who they are.  You wanna cry about something Genia?  Cry about how many kids actually have to live in hell here on earth, because of your fear of "homosexuals".

Looky here Delgottago.  You protest a little TOO much for a straight man.  Last I checked, no one was punching your dance card, and maybe you want them to.  And, as a point of clarification, your prose is very homoerotic: bulging, inserters, men in general.  You sound like one of those mid-70s gay pulp erotica writers, a la Gordon Merrick (and I just did Mr. Merrick a disservice with that comparison, I know), but seriously Genia, lay off.  Enough already.

Me thinks the lady protests too much.
